Job Title: Acquisition Quality Manager - Purchase Request Support

Location: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN

Job Description:

  • Functional and Administrative Support – review and validation of Purchase Requests for accuracy.
  • Planning and Tracking Acquisition Requirements - Track and maintain bankcard requisitions. 
  • Data Entry - Ensure Purchase Card Requisition Form (PCRF)s and MILSTRIP (Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures) purchase requests are properly prepared.
  • Documentation Support - Review Purchase Requests and validate the purchase requests for financial, asset and OM&S (Operating Materials and Supplies) accuracy.
  • Metric Support - maintain needed metrics for bankcard purchase requisitions, acquisition packages, budget/financial, Navy-ERP, and COR database metrics

 

Security Requirement:  a Secret Clearance is required

 

Requirements:

  • Skills and Knowledge in the use of Navy-ERP and Microsoft Office applications such as Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, able to file, duplicate, distribute and close our contracts and documents, receive, deliver and process U.S. Mail.
  • Must possess skills and abilities to function in an office environment, multi-task and follow instructions with the ability to effectively communications with a team.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
